The Grandeur of the
Temples of Upper Egypt
Following in the
footsteps of the Pharaohs.
 DAY 1: ASWAN Tuesday (LD)
Check in on your luxury cruiser at
noon. Following lunch, board a graceful felucca and sail among the
islands in the Nile.
DAY 2: ASWAN-KOM OMBO Wednesday
(BLD)
After breakfast, visit the Temples of
Philae, the Aswan Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Sail to Kom Ombo and
visit the twin Temples of Horus, the Sun God and Sobek, the crocodile
god.
DAY 3: EDFU Thursday (BLD)
Sail to Edfu and board horse-drawn
carriages for the ride to the Temple of Horus, best preserved on the
Nile. In the evening, enjoy a jolly galabaia party as you sail to Esna
and cross the lock. Arrive in Luxor tonight.
DAY 4: LUXOR Friday (BLD)
Cross the Nile and visit the
legendary Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari. After lunch, visit the imposing
Temple of Luxor and the gigantic Temple of Amon at Karnak.
DAY 5: LUXOR Saturday (B)
After breakfast, check out of your
deluxe floating hotel.
