  Traveling with one's kid-sister in a foreign country is not an easy thing. initially I was uneasy about the whole idea and worried that I might not be able to enjoy the trip. I am grateful for your presence and that of the rest of the Nabila staff for all of you had a hand in easing my concerns to the point where I could enjoy the sites around me instead of worrying about my sister's safety.

 Thank you for making our time in your country so pleasurable. truely, if I have anything positive to tell potencial travellers to egypt about your country and the egyptian people it is because of my interactions with you, Ahmed(cairo driver), Mohamed(cairo guide) and "Tiger"(luxor guide).

  I hope in the future you will contact me to share the details of your life's events(such as when you'll come visit) and that you'll consider me a friend of worth.

Our trip to Egypt was incredible.  Everything went smoothly.  We were very well taken care of by all the ground operators.  The tours were very interesting.  We especially enjoyed Aladdin, our guide on the cruise portion of our trip.  He was so caring, knowledgeable and laid back.  Everyone in our group became quite attached to him.

The hotels were excellent especially the Helnan Palestine in Alexandria.  What a terrific ending to a great trip!

The only negatives were some of the flight times and long layovers but due to the itinerary to Abu Simbel and the departure of the cruise, there may not have been any other way.

My apologies for taking so long to get this letter of gratitude to you.   First of all  Eduardo, Susan, Anthony and I want to thank you for everything that you put together.  When we initially arrived in Cairo we were met at the airport by a friendly and very efficient fellow who expedited the process of entering the country and had us in an air-conditioned van within 20 minutes.  Our driver, Lala, was the first driver we encountered and the last driver at the end of our trip.  He was not only a great driver, he was friendly, courteous and well dressed.  It was the same with each driver and guide at each of our many destinations.  At each location we were met promptly at arrival and escorted to our hotel or tour.  Every one of the drivers we had was an expert driver and we never felt uncomfortable.  The several guides we had along our long adventure were polite, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. We were met in our hotel lobby at each step of the trip by a guide who saw that we enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot.  Our guides were Ahmad, Mohamed Nour, Karim, and Tito.  Each guide was generous with his knowledge but did not dominate the experience.  We all learned so much and had such a great time on all of the tours. 

 

We were fortunate enough to go on the Western Desert tour with a marvelous guide/driver, Monty from Nomad Tours.  He was such a warm and interesting person, that we all felt sad when he had to leave us at the end of the desert tour.  Our desert camping experience will be remembered as one of the best times we ever had.  Monty was always in control and calm, cool and collected.  His wonderful personality contributed to the atmosphere and we will remember him fondly.  Mohamed Nour contributed his vast knowledge of the sites in the Oasises and provided us with cultural information that was very interesting. He went out of his way to see that we were never bored. Karim, our guide during the cruise, was extremely patient and Tito our guide in Cairo and Memphis was always smiling.

 

Egypt was revealed to us by patient guides and capable drivers.  Our trip was made easy, comfortable and fun by the Naggar staff.  We were treated very well and never lacked for anything.

From the Western Desert, to the Nile cruise, to the Sinai Peninsula, to Cairo and Alexandria the accommodations were always clean and welcoming.  The King of Thebes was a wonderful cruise ship and the cabins, meals and service on-board was wonderful.  And of course, we all enjoyed the Hyatt Regency at Sharm-el-Shiek. 

 

The transport vans were always clean, smelled great and air-conditioned.  Every one of the restaurants we dined at offered great food and service.  It was refreshing not to have to deal with paying the check at these restaurants, as each time the guide ordered the meal, paid the bill and tipped the servers.  At each of the tour sites, the guides would purchase the entry tickets, guide us through the site, give us time to use the toilets, opportunities to shop and kept us on schedule.  Not once did we have to wait for a guide to arrive at our hotel to pick us up or to collect us at the end of a tour.  The entire tour experience was without flaw.  Thanks to you, Mohamed, for waiting on the roadside just to board our transport van and see that everything was going well.  It was always great to see you and know that you were monitoring our trip.  We were always in good hands.  Thanks also to all your guides and drivers for their knowledge, patience and graciousness.  We will gladly recommend Nabila to travelers who are interested in visiting Egypt.  Our Egyptian experience was fabulous and we could not have asked for more.

Dear Samia,

On October 20, 2008 I embarked with Mary Williamson on a tour of Egypt.  It was an outstanding trip that I will always remember.

The weather was beautiful, the hotels were elegant, and the sites were magnificent.  The tour operators were helpful and the driver made us feel very safe in that unbelieveable traffic.

Our guides made the trip so meaningful, though.  Tamer Malak guided us in Cairo and Alexandria and Aladin Abdoun on the cruise ship.  They explained the history and the culture so thoroughly that we felt like Egyptologists. 

We're trying to promote Egypt to all our friends, and we want them to have Tamer and  Aladin as their guides also.

Thank you for planning such a worthwhile itinerary with such qualified personnel.

What can I say!  We have just returned from the most fantastic travel experience of our lives and we have only you to thank for it.

The package put together on such short notice was perfect in every respect.  Every stage was planned and executed perfectly.  From the greetings at every airport to the transfers to the travel guides (Egyptologists), everyone was professional and welcoming and knowledgeable.  A few people worthy of honorable mention are Mohammed Galal, Viola our Cairo guide and Aladdin our Nile River Cruise guide.

It's hard to believe that we were able to accomplish so much on one trip and still come home feeling relaxed and recharged.

Egypt, as you know, is a truly astonishing place.  I have never experienced a place so rich in history, antiquity and well-preserved archeological sites.  I have always been amazed by my trips to places like Pompeii because of the experience of walking through 2000 year old homes and temples.  To think that those places are only half as old as the ones we visited on this trip is mind boggling.  To see the evidence of the truly enlightened civilizations of those times makes me wonder what has happened to civilization in the meantime.  Shouldn't we have progressed more than we have?  This is just one of the philosophical thoughts that passed through my mind as we progressed on our journey.
