GETTING ALONG ABROAD:
Participants in our tours are encouraged to travel with an open mind, active curiosity, and thoughtful courtesy for others. We believe that it is important to maintain a positive attitude towards your fellow tour participants and also towards the people of the host country, toward their culture and way of life. Accommodations and meals, particularly outside the large cities, may be quite different from what you're used to at home. Enjoy them in the spirit of adventure, which is the reward of foreign travel.

Nabila Tours reserves the right to refuse service and/or to terminate the participation of any tour participant whose health or mental condition or physical infirmity impedes the operation of the tour, or whose conduct is discourteous to others or incompatible with the best interests of the group.

ADDITIONAL COST:
Unless specifically mentioned in a tour itinerary, tour prices do not include the following:

  • International airfares
  • Meals and sightseeing
  • Insurance of any kind
  • Beverages, including bottled water
  • Items of a personal nature, including laundry, alcoholic beverages and mineral waters, excess baggage charges, etc.
  • Extra charges for food ordered a la carte or from room service (these charges must be paid directly to the hotel or restaurant).
  • Gratuities for tour guides, lecturers and cruise ship staff, which are at the discretion of the traveler.
  • Departure taxes, visa fees and customs duties.
  • Optional entries such as: entry to any of the pyramids in Giza, the Solar Boat Museum, the Mummy Room within the Egyptian National Museum, etc.
  • Optional excursions to Abu Simbel or St. Catherine Monastrey, etc.

DEPOSIT REQUIRED:
A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person is due at the time of reservation.
Occasionally, special customized packages may require a higher deposit amount.

FULL PAYMENT:
Due 60 days prior to departure. Some special events may require earlier payment. You will be advised at the time of reservation. Payments made within 21 days of departure must be in the form of a certified check or credit card. We reserve the right to cancel, without refund, any reservation that is not paid in full by the balance due date. The purchase of Travel Interruption or Cancellation Insurance is strongly recommended.

PRICES:
All prices are per person, based on double occupancy, and subject to availability at the time of booking. In case of human or computer error, Nabila Tours & Cruises reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided
Nabila Tours & Cruises receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.

CREDIT CARDS:
We accept major credit cards. Credit card charges will only be processed upon submission of a completed Nabila Tours & Cruises Credit Card Form. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. A 3% fee will be charged for travel agent FAM trips.

RETURNED CHECKS: $30 fee.

CHANGES AFTER DEPOSIT:
$50 per revision per booking, plus any expenses imposed by suppliers.

LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS:
If requested services cannot be confirmed, deposit and booking fee will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply thereafter. Acceptable forms of payment include credit card or certified check. A last minute
booking is defined as request for travel within 14 days.

PASSENGER NAME:
Passengers are responsible to ensure that the names printed on the invoice exactly match their passport names.
Nabila Tours & Cruises will not be held responsible for the denial of services by a carrier due to any name discrepancy. Name changes must be advised in writing and are subject to airline penalties.

DOCUMENTS:
Will be emailed or mailed approximately 28 days prior to departure for delivery approximately 21 days prior provided that full payment (cleared check or approved credit card) is received at least 60 days prior. For shipping by 2nd Day Air, a $18 fee will apply; for Next Day Air, a $25 fee will apply. Should final payment be received fewer than 60 days prior, an additional $18 for 2nd Day Air may be added to your final payment. This amount must be paid in full before documents can be released.

AMENDMENTS AFTER DEPARTURE:
The cost of any changes or additions will be at the local rate at the time of the amendment, not per the Nabila Tours & Cruises brochure, and must be borne by the passenger.

AIRLINES:
Once issued, tickets are non-refundable. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice.
Nabila Tours & Cruises is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic, not issued by Nabila Tours & Cruises due to schedule and/or flight changes. We suggest you contact your travel agent or the carrier several weeks prior to departure for seat assignments. Passengers are responsible to reconfirm their flights 72 hours prior to departure for all flights.

Flights:
Airfares, and departure and arrival times of flights are subject to change without notice. Your airfare and tour price are guaranteed only when we have received payment in full and have issued your air tickets. For packages to Egypt please add a 25% supplement for travel during Christmas/New Year's and Easter weeks. Nabila Tours uses recognized scheduled international airlines.

LUGGAGE:
All tour packages allow two pieces of
luggage of 50 Lbs each per person and one carry-on bag. Excess luggage will be subject to charge of up to $100 per piece. The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operator, Nabila Tours & Cruises, shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of luggage/personal items. If you purchase travel insurance, most damage/loss can be claimed, assuming that a report is filed at the time of incident and documented in writing by local authorities.

RAIL:
Rail tickets are valid for the dates and times specified and once issued are non-refundable. The possibility of date and/or time changes once issued is strictly subject to availability and may by accompanied by rate increases.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on Nabila Tours & Cruises agreements with its suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used.

AIR-CONDITIONING:
Although available at most 4- and 5-star hotels, conditions and use of air-conditioning abroad differs greatly from the United States.

CRUISES:
In general, passengers may board ships not earlier than three hours and not later than one hour prior to departure. It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure a timely arrival at the port. Cabins are assigned within a general cabin category on run-of-ship basis. Nabila Tours & Cruises cannot guarantee a specific assignment. Cruise itineraries and ships are subject to change without notice. Furthermore, cruise ships may be chartered and/or departure dates cancelled, in which case all monies will be refunded.
Nabila Tours & Cruises takes no responsibility for ship substitutions or itinerary changes imposed by a cruise line.

Cruise Itineraries:
Nile cruise boat schedules may require a change in embarcation point. Thus you may start your cruise in Luxor, even though the itinerary says Aswan, or vice-versa. Not matter what the embarcation point, all sights mentioned in the itinerary will be visited.

Travel Insurance:
We can provide and strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance. Policies are available to cover loss or damage to your luggage, medical needs, certain travel-related accidents, and expenses if you must cancel your trip.

Reservations & Payment:
Nabila Tours works with and depends on your professional travel agent to provide you with the most convenient and efficient service. Your local agent will be happy to make your Nabila tours & Cruises reservations at no extra cost.

For one to 14 persons, reservations must be secured by a deposit of $250.00 per person, with the balance of the tour price due no later than 60 days before departure. Reservations requested less than 60 days before departure must include full payment by cashier's check or money order; reservations requested 30 days or less before departure must include a late booking charge of $50 per person.

For groups of 15 persons or more, reservations may be secured by a deposit of $100 per person. The balance of the tour price must be received at least 60 days prior departure. New names received 30 days or less before departure are subject to a late booking charge of $50 per person.

Child Discount:
Children under 12 years of age will receive a discount of 25% on international and domestic airfare in Egypt.

MEALS ON TOUR:
As specified in each itinerary. Meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated.

TRANSFERS:
As indicated for each tour, provided by car, minibus, or motorcoach, and only on tour arrival and departure dates, provided airfare is purchased from Nabila Tours & Cruises. If you purchase a land-only tour, or if you deviate from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, you will automatically be billed for the transfer service, which you may advise us to cancel at any time prior to your final tour payment date.

SIGHTSEEING:
Will be operated by motor-vehicle, its size is dictated by the number of participants, at the sole discretion of the company.
Nabila Tours & Cruises have been designed to accommodate individuals as well as groups. Please refer to each tour package for a complete listing of tour services included. The number of participants may vary during the tour, as Nabila Tours & Cruises accommodates travelers arriving on different airlines and on different days of the week. Times listed in itineraries are approximate and meant only as guidelines. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for all scheduled flights, cruises, and package components. Arriving late may be considered a "no-show", in which case you will not be eligible for refund for the unused service(s). We cannot guarantee the number of passengers who will be on any given tour. You may find that you are traveling with a sizeable group or only with your own companions. Services, however, will remain constant no matter the number of tour participants.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
On dates including, but not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations or renovation, some monuments and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures.


Changing or Canceling Reservations:
Requests for rescheduling or cancellation received in writing 60 days or more before departure will be honored but are subject to an administrative fee of $50 per person. Less than 60 days before departure, a cancellation fee of 25% of all payments applies. For cancellations fourteen through eight days prior to departure, the cancellation fee is 50% of the amount paid. No refund is possible for cancellations received seven days or less prior to commencement of tours, or for those who fail to participate in tours.

Refunds:
All arrangements are inclusive, thus no refund is granted for unused accommodations, meals or other services except by special arrangement at the time original reservations are made. Any and all claims for refunds must be made only to the original reservations office; no other person, office, guide, agent or representative is authorized to promise or to make refunds, or to promise or make any change or alteration of these Terms and Conditions. All claims must be made within 60 days following completion of the tour. To be considered, a claim must be accompanied by a written authorization from our overseas representatives and/or hotels.

Responsibility:
Nabila Tours & Cruises, Inc., a California corporation ("Nabila"), a division of the Naggar Travel Group, 32 Sabri Abu Alam Street, Cairo, Egypt, acts only as agent for suppliers such as air carriers and hotels identified on documents supplied to you in connection with your purchase of the tours described herein or other travel services. Nabila shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or other party not directly owned or controlled by Nabila, or by the failure of any equipment operated by any such supplier or other party. Nabila shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes to itineraries or schedules, or from any causes resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas, or other documents. Neither Nabila nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour memeber as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. Nabila's responsibility to passengers carried in vehicles and aircraft for transfers and excursions and tours is governed by the laws of the respective countries in which the tours take place and no other country. All claims are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arises.

The right is reserved to substitute hotels and cruise ships and to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is canceled prior to the passenger's joining the tour, Nabila is liable for a refund of monies received by Nabila. Nabila is not responsible nor liable for defaults of those not directly under the control of Nabila.

The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases Nabila from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements for each destination, and all safety and security conditions during the length of the proposed travel. By embarking on his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The traveler is hereby warned of the aforementioned risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climactic disruptions.

Prices are subject to change:
The receipt of your deposit and/or final payment will indicate that you have read these Terms and Conditions, and that you have agreed to them.

Amendments to Original Itinerary:
Cancelled service will be subject to an administration processing fee plus any expenses imposed by suppliers as a result of the changes.  Request for refunds or adjustments must be submitted in writing and received no later than thirty days after last service rendered. A written statement by local representatives may facilitate your claim. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing of your claim.

There will be no refunds for unused tour services or features.

Should you wish to add or change service after the departure from the USA, you must pay directly to the service provider such as the hotel or airline, not to Nabila Tours & Cruises. The cost of any changes or additions will be at the local rate at the time of the amendment, not per the Nabila Tours & Cruises brochure, and must be borne by you.

Nabila Tours & Cruises is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides or any other persons not under direct employment with Nabila Tours & Cruises.

It is your responsibility to arrive on time for all scheduled flights, cruises, trains, and package components (e.g. sightseeing, tours, hotels, meals, entertainment programs, etc.).  Arriving late for your flight, cruise or scheduled program may be considered a “no-show”, in which case you will not be eligible for any refund for the unused services.

Pre-Purchased Services:
Your document packet will include a voucher, and/or airline ticket, rail ticket, for all services which have been through and pre-paid to Nabila Tours & Cruises. Should you be requested to pay for any portion of the services which have already been pre-paid, please follow these procedures:

2.      Obtain a receipt

3. Remit to your travel agent with a written explanation of the situation.  The possibility of any refund will then be investigated upon your return home.

 AIR FLIGHTS:
We highly recommend that you phone the airline and reconfirm your flight before leaving home as there may be some last minute schedule changes or delays which could affect your travel.  Please check in at least three hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Passengers connecting from another point within the USA may check their luggage through to their final destination, and although problems with lost luggage have been minimal, it is a possibility.  Certain carriers do not allow baggage “interlining”, and luggage must be checked separately for each flight.  Be sure to reconfirm each continuing flight 48 hours prior, otherwise the airline may cancel your reservation. If you are connecting from a domestic flight which is delayed for any reason, causing you to miss your international flight, you must ask the airline for assistance in getting you to your destination. Since all airline tickets are issued on special fares which carry restrictions and penalties if changed, you must have the airlines make alternate arrangements on your behalf as Nabila Tours & Cruises has no authority or control over activities and policies.
