DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CAIRO Thursday
Upon arrival, Naggar staff will meet you at the airport, assist you through the custom formalities and escort you to your hotel.

DAY 2: CAIRO Friday (BL)
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour to the Egyptian Museum, Sultan Hassan and Mohammed Ali Mosques, Citadel of Saladin in Cairo and the Sphinx, Pyramids and Cheop’s Solar Boat in Giza. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

DAY 3: CAIRO Saturday (B)
This is a full day at leisure for you to relax, visit the sights in your guide book or spend the day shopping for souvenirs and gifts.

DAY 4: ASWAN Sunday (B)
Transfer at the airport for your flight to Aswan, to your hotel for check-in before boarding the felucca and sailing among the small islands in the Nile.

DAY 5: ASWAN Monday (BLD)
After breakfast, visit the Aswan Dams and the Philae Temple before transferring to your Nabila Nile cruise vessel in time for lunch on board. Visit Kalabsha temple with its Pharaonic aspects, remodeled into the Greco-Roman style and dedicated to the god Mandoulis. Visit the hemi-speos of Beit el Wali, erected to honor the goddess Isis.

DAY 6: CRUISE TO WADI EL SABOUA Tuesday (BLD)
Enjoy the facilities of the ship during a full day of sailing

DAY 7: SHORE EXCURSION Wednesday (BLD)
Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua– dedicated by Ramses II to the two gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, and the temple of Dakka, dedicated to the god Thot of divine wisdom, lord of time and science and master of literature. Visit the Greco-Roman temple of Meharakka. Sail to Amada to visit the temple of Amada from XVIIIth dynasty— built during the reign of Thotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thotmosis IV. Also visit the hemi-speos of Derr and the tomb of Penout, Viceroy of Nubia.

DAY 8: ASWAN Thursday (BLD)
Morning visit to the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim– sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location before sailing back to Abu Simbel. After lunch, visit the temple of Ramses II with its four colossal statues and the smaller temple dedicated to his wife, Queen Nefertari. Have a candlelight dinner overlooking the Abu Simbel temples.

DAY 9: ABU SIMBEL Friday (B)
Opportunity for a second visit to the temples to watch the spectacular sunrise at the Abu Simbel temples– symbol of the international salvage of the Nubian monuments; the temples of Ramses II and his beloved wife, Nefertari. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel.

DAY 10: LUXOR Saturday (B)
Cross the river by ferry to visit the world-renowned Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari and the Workers’ Village where you can find more beautiful paintings from the pharaonic times. In the evening, enjoy the pageantry of the Sound and Light Show at the Karnak temple before transferring to your hotel.

DAY 11: LUXOR & CAIRO Sunday (B)
Visit the Temple of Luxor and the stupendous Temple of Amon at Karnak before returning to Cairo and your hotel.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE Monday (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your homebound or onward flight.
