| April 15, Sun, Day 5 Jerusalem/Bethlehem: (BD) |
After breakfast, drive to the Old City of Jerusalem, the Christian Quarter, and then walk through the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross. Beginning at the Ecce Homo Convent and ending at the Antonia Fortress, and Golgotha now inside the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher. We will continue to the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive grove, where Jesus asked His disciples to watch with Him one hour and pray (Matthew 26:35-37). In the afternoon, drive to Manger Square in Bethlehem; on the way, stop at the Shepherd’s field, where the Shepherds gathered and kept watch the night Jesus Christ was born. Return to the National hotel in Jerusalem for overnight and dinner. |
| April 16, Mon, Day 6 Jerusalem-New City: (BD) |
After breakfast, drive to Ein Kerem to visit the church of the Visitation (Luke 1:1-25). Stand at the top of Mount Olives and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the Old and New City of Jerusalem. Walk through the route of Palm Sunday down Mount Olives, in the footsteps of Jesus, to visit St. Maria Magdalena. Then, you will visit Mount Zion where you will see the Room of the Last Supper (Mark 14:13) and King David’s Tomb. Drive through the New City of Jerusalem to see the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, housing the Dead Sea Scrolls and the scale model of Jerusalem in Jesus’ time. Overnight and dinner at the National hotel Jerusalem or similar. |
| April 17, Tue, Day 7 Dead Sea: (BD) |
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive via the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest inhabited city in the world. Arrive at the Dead Sea for overnight and dinner at the Isrotel Dead Sea hotel or similar. |
April 18, Wed, Day 8 Nazareth-Mt.Tabor Tiberias : (BD) |
After breakfast, depart the Dead Sea and drive along the coastline north to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his boyhood. Visit the House of Joseph and the Church of the Annunciation. Continue to Cana, site of the first miracle; where married couples can renew their wedding vows! Then, drive to Bethseida where you will enjoy a thrilling opportunity to experience baptism in the Jordan River following the example of Jesus. A few miles from Nazareth is the ancient city of Zippori, once a Jewish city, which became a seat of Christian Bishopric. On the hilltop, there is a church and a watchtower of Anne and Joachim, the parents of Mary, mother of Jesus. Then, drive to Mount Tabor the site of the transfiguration and Mount Arbel where the ruins of the ancient city of Magdala lies. Overnight and dinner at the Restal Tiberias hotel or similar. |
April 19, Thu, Day 9 Sea of Galilee: (BD) |
After breakfast, you will enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful Sea of Galilee. Experience the same landscape that Jesus must have seen with His own eyes! Then, you will visit the Tabgha, the place where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes (Mathew 14:14-21) and Capernaum to see the ruins of the ancient Synagogue, perhaps the same one that Jesus taught in. Experience the serenity of the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus ministered and preached the famous Sermon on the Mount. Travel through Upper Galilee to the Banias Springs (Caesarea Philippe), where Peter made his first confession of faith. Return to the Restal Tiberias hotel or similar for overnight and dinner. |
April 20, Fri, Day 10 Old Jaffa/ Tel Aviv: (BD) |
After breakfast, depart north and drive along the coastline. Stop at Haifa to see the panoramic view of Haifa Bay and the Bahai Gardens. Then, visit the Daliat village and continue to Caesarea for a short tour of Tel Aviv and Old Jaffa. At night you will enjoy a farewell dinner at the Metropolitan Tel Aviv hotel where you will spend the night as well. |

Transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your onward flight. |
