Board EgyptAir’s direct flight to Cairo at JFK International Airport.

Dec 22, Thu, Day 2 Arrival:

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to the Oasis hotel or similar.

Dec 23, Fri, Day 3 Cairo/Aswan/Cruise: (BLD)
|
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. (Opportunity to visit Abu Simbel and see the temples of Ramses II and his Nubian queen Nefertari available at an additional cost). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the 5 star Nile cruise vessel. Today, you will visit the High Dam, the unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple. Overnight in Aswan.

In the morning you will sail to Kom-Ombo. Upon arrival you will visit the twin Ptolemaic temples, Sobek and Haeroris. Sail to Edfu for overnight.

Dec 25, Sun, Day 5 Cruise: (BLD)
|
A brisk ride in a horse-drawn carriage brings you through the town of Edfu to the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Esna where you will cross the lock arriving at Luxor for overnight.

Dec 26, Mon, Day 6 Cruise/Cairo: (B)
|
Check out of the cruise and visit the West Bank (Valley of the Kings and the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi Memon). Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will return to your hotel.

Begin your day with a visit to the fascinating collections of antiquities at the Egyptian Museum. Tour Old Cairo, including the Church of St. Sergius on the site where the Holy Family lived in Cairo and Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Cairo. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive to Giza to see the world-renowned Great Pyramids and the Sphinx.
