| Day 1 USA/Costa Rica: |
Board your flight for an overnight flight to Costa Rica. |
| Day 2 Arrival: |
Upon arrival in Costa Rica, you will be met by our
representative and escorted to the San Jose Aurola hotel
or similar. Afternoon at leisure. |
| Day 3 La Fortuna: (BD) |
In the morning, you will transfer to La Fortuna for the
day. In the afternoon, you will drive to Arenal Volcano
where you will enjoy the active northwest side of the
volcano. The tour begins with a hike and depending upon
which side of the volcano the lava flowing. It is possible
to observe a great variety of plants, wildlife, magnificent
lava rock formations and the Arenal Lake. During the tour,
you will also learn some interesting information about the
history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano
National Park. At night you will enjoy a nice relaxing
dinner at the mineral Tabacon Hot Springs. Overnight at
the Magic Mountain Hotel or similar. |
| Day 4 La Fortuna: (BL) |
Today, you will challenge yourself as you paddle through
fun and safe rolling rapids and then play around in
tranquil river pools in an isolated rainforest river canyon!
You will get to see lots of wildlife like monkeys, sloths
and tropical toucans. This uniqe river trip is the best way
to combine adventure and nature. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant. Overnight at the Magic Mountain Hotel. |
| Day 5 Monteverde: (B) |
In the morning, you will transfer to the dam. Then
you will enjoy a beautiful 30 min cruise on the lake of
the Arenal, and finally a 1.5 hour scenic ride by bus to
Monteverde. Overnight at Poco A Poco hotel or similar. |
| Day 6 Monteverde: (BL) |
In the morning, you will experience the Canopay Extreme,
which offers modern and secure equipment, detailed
safety and equipment orientation, experienced guides;
waterfall views and 14 zip lines. In addition, five of our zip
lines measures an amazing 467 mts, 425 mts, 600 mts,
750 mts and 1 km. The zip lines have an approximate
height of 75 mts to 150 mts, 21 platforms which include
our breath taking Tarzan Swing and Rappel. After Canopy,
you will enjoy a tasty lunch. Then, you will get to witness
spectacular views of the Nicoya Golf while Horseback
Riding. Overnight, at the Poco A Poco hotel. |
| Day 7 Flamingo: (B) |
After breakfast, you will enjoy a relaxing day at the Flamingo beach. Overnight at the Flamingo Beach Resort
or similar. |
| Day 8 Flamingo: (B) |
Day at leisure to enjoy the beach. Overnight at the
Flamingo Beach Resort. |
| Day 9 Flamingo: (B) |
Day at leisure at the Flamingo Beach resort. |
| Day 10 San Jose: (B) |
In the afternoon, you drive to San Jose. Overnight at the
San Jose Aurola hotel. |
| Day 11 San Jose/USA: (B) |
After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your
flight to the USA |
